Do you need any assistance with transferring IP rights to another party?

Domain names are transferred by following the procedure of the relevant domain name registrar and/or by assignment deed.

Business names are transferred through ASIC procedures.

Registered trade marks, designs and patents are assigned, and the assignments recorded with IP Australia.

Other common forms of intellectual property such as copyright, or unregistered trade marks, are assigned under general legal principles.
